Dr. Abdelrahman Samir Al-Naggar
- Founder and Chairman of Daltex Group since 1964, managing a network of farms covering over 50,000 acres. The company exports more than 40% of Egypt’s total potato exports to the European Union and operates subsidiaries in Germany, the UK, and the Gulf region.
- Chairman of the Agricultural Businessmen Association.
- Chairman of the Egyptian Seed Association.
- Member of the Variety Registration Committee at the Ministry of Agriculture.
- Member of the Agricultural Crops Seed Committee at the Ministry of Agriculture.
- Member of the Intellectual Property Advisory Committee at the Ministry of Agriculture.
- Member of the Faculty Board of Agriculture, Cairo University.
- President of the Cairo University Faculty of Agriculture Alumni Association.
- Daltex played a key role in preparing the dossier and maps related to the reduction of geographically restricted areas for Egyptian potato exports during Egypt’s negotiations with the EU Standing Committee (Pest-Free Zone).
- Led negotiations with the SANCO Standing Committee in Brussels.
- As Chairman of the Agricultural Businessmen Association, Dr. Al-Naggar spearheaded the National Program for the Development of Egypt’s Fisheries Sector, aiming to transform Egypt from a fish-importing country to an exporting one.
- Led the Egyptian Agribusiness Association and managed the National Development Plan to control and mitigate avian influenza and revitalize Egypt’s poultry sector in collaboration with the FAO, the World Bank, the Dutch Embassy, and other organizations.
- Contributed to the establishment of the African Seed Trade Association (AFSTA).
- Former Board Member of the International Seed Federation (ISF).
- Chairman of the Board of Dal Real Estate Development Company.
